Your adventure begins with a wonderful trip of 90km (about two hours) from Quito to the Eco-Lodge, located at the northwest of the Pichincha province. It is accessed from the Nanegalito - Mindo road and is close to the town of San José de Las Tolas. The Lodge land is bordered by two rivers, the Amarillo and the Centauro. These are tributaries of the Patchijal, the largest river in the area. During the trip you can observe the dense vegetation and exotic fauna typical of the Cloud Forests, as well as traditional farms and attractive landscapes.
San José de Las Tolas is an idyllic place were the warmth of its people allows us to reflect on the simple every day life of the country. It is a place where the values, customs and traditional culture have not been forgotten. San José de Las Tolas is characterised by an unique natural environment explained by its geographical location, with a great variety of fauna and flora species, yet another reason to visit the village.
